I like it but I expected the beat to be a bit sharper, like more treble. Listening to it in iTunes with Treble Booster makes it sound a lot better.

She needs to sacrifice her artistic integrity for this one song. It should be a generic ass stripper video, and then she can do whatever she want's after the single.
C'mon guys it's like ONE song out of 16... It may sound boring to US as fans but the GP likes generic and boring and I guess we just have to accept that this is the song that will hopefully "smash" or w/e its intent is.

That's what I'm thinking. If she goes nuts in the video and does like she usually does then it won't do as well as it could.
I've noticed the people that don't like it aren't the standard hip hop fans. I think this is kind of like the whole Marina and The Diamonds 'Primadonna' thing with a non mainstream artist making a mainstream song. I think with the right video, right promo, this will do good. This is her chance to get big in America.

Exactly! She can do all that avant garde sh!t once she's as big as Nicki or Lady Gaga but right now she can't afford to experiment any further than what she did with YR; this is her chance to "win" fans.
Besides, she released Liquorice as a single and it charted at 73 in the Belgium Charts and her EP charted at 133 in the Billboard Chart so clearly the GP isn't here for 90's Azealia; verbal admiration and praise from hardcore fans isn't what's going to make her $$$ but releasing generic songs that the GP will buy is. We just have to support her I guess

Azealia uses way too much of her own slang in her songs. While a lot of her bigger fans might get it and understand what she's talking about, most other people won't. If she was going to release something more commercial after Yung Rapunxel and premiere it on Hot97 of all places, she should have made sure it was relateable.
