In terms of lead artists, the whole top 4 on rhythmic is white!

I remember only a year ago a lot of the time the whole top 10 was black (Justin Bieber was the only white person consistently doing well on the format).

Yeah, it's because it got #1 on rhythmic, #2 on urban and #4 on pop (and it peaked on all three formats roughly at the same time). Add all that together and it's massive total airplay. That's how most of the highest-peaking songs got there, some like Mariah and Alicia even get played on the AC formats. And that's how Blurred Lines is getting its massive airplay right now.
That's why I didn't want Right Now as a single, there's other songs on the album which could crossover and get much bigger airplay.
