Yes,everyone is doing a little too much with Paula, both sides.
I mean we all made our thoughts on the situation, now time to give this mess a rest.What she said was offensive, and her idea of a southern wedding was idiotic yes, but truth be told there's more pressing issues like SCOTUS' decision on the voting rights act, Zimmerman's trial, and this STUPID ASS MENTALITY that some people of other races have that all black people LOVE welfare.

And let me rant about people who say "Blacks aren't about **** and only want to live off welfare, food stamps, and handouts.
This post might end up being an essay but who cares?
I don't get it, I really don't.
First of all,How can some whites denounce and bash black people for 'wanting handouts' when in reality Blacks have NEVER FULLY EVEN RECOVERED from all that ****ery that happened since our ancestors came off the ship.Even after the 1960s when we got some of our rights we still face institutionalized racism, and were STILL left economically disadvantaged to this day.Now don't get me wrong,there are a few of us who aren't about **** having children left and right just so they can get all types of government money but that ain't all of is.TBH, Some of us don't like going to the welfare office waiting in those long ass lines but we have to do what we have to do just to get by.
If people really want to 'help' blacks,get rid of the gangs and the sketchy ass environments that create opportunity for increased criminal activity to happen,stop underfunding schools that have majority minority population, and STOP trying to raise tuition/loan rates at our colleges! Blacks as a race are already behind in education because we just cannot afford it, and now people get up in arms when there's HBCUs (emphasis on H) as of it was some exclusive country club.
I already touched up on the subject of BET and HBCUs in blogs and it would be pointless in trying to explain it again.
And as for the increasing # of claims of 'reverse racism' please stop it with that bus. Now I can't say that white people can't be discriminated against but some of these things are over the top.If people like Bill Gates want to give all his scholarships to minority people, leave them be,you don't see me complaining about people who only give their scholarships to whites.Also Jobwise, if someone just doesn't have the skills,no matter what skin color they are, they're NOT going to get hired period. Stop acting as if AA is some type of tool that puts unqualified minorities in front of well qualified candidates, it doesn't work that way.
The sad thing is (and I know it's wrong to do this) I assume a lot of the people who are complaining about blacks and handouts probably shop at expensive ass grocery stores like Harris Cheater while living in their cookie cutter McMansions in the the suburbs driving around in their minivans.Now about some of these arrogant live in the fields of oppression some of the older whites relegated the blacks to (The Hood) and then we'll talk about 'entitllement'
