I would love to see Janelle Monae's "Q.U.E.E.N." get some nominations, but I'm not holding my breath.
I could see it getting some love in the tech awards... Okay maybe just one category like Art Direction or Cinematography (I'd have to check it out again to judge its editing).

Ultimately it all depends on how the submissions system works for the VMAs. If FOB's cover of "Beat It" could be up for Best Rock Video in 2008, anything can be included in that category... While Paramore's like a three-time nominee in that category, so they could get a spot just based off of that.
