Yep. I've been saying this for years.. very few people seem to be aware of it as the media always reports these stars as "honours" and something they "get", when really.. they don't. I'm glad at least some are doing their research..

That said one has to have accomplished a bit to be elected at all, so I don't mean to shade anyone that rented a star on a sidewalk. just the media should do their job and finally report it for what it is: "star elected & paid rent for their walk of fame spot!"

That said, it's still confusing why Gaga and Rihanna don't have one yet.
And not people underrating the impact of the Walk of Fame. 10 million visitors a year.

Also, the 30,000 is a one time fee.

Why is it confusing? I hope you're not saying they can't get one if they wanted one. Many stars are just not interested.
