Billboard will make one, most likely. Just like they readjusted the price of albums sold counting towards Billboard. I don't trust them these days

If it's sold at regular price with the app then there's not much they can do. They can only disregard standalone apps. Anyways itunes/Play store have their own app chart so that'll be cool to see.

Hmm well if the audios leak It'll probably be a few days to release and not a week or anything. BTW leaked like 2-3 days before the release.

Did they count the albums sold by Bjork as an app? It's not like Gaga is the first to do that.

And I think Jay-z will release his album as an app too in the next weeks, so we'll see how it works.

Bjork released songs from the album on seperate app thingies first. And then she released it as one. And I don't believe they counted as sales for the album in particular. Just on the iTunes store.

And Jay there's several ways. The most popular way is by sending them to reviewers (notice that sometimes reviews come out before an album release?) who then leak the content to someone else to leak it on the web. The next way is the way we get lq snippets, which is someone who works at the label records from their phones and leaks it on the net. And Also sometimes labels make mistakes and upload albums too early (happened with Ciara)


Ohhh and I think sometimes computers get hacked and they take the albums from the computers and share the files talk about security risk.

Right though !? But the truth is that once you have your snippets uploaded on iTunes the album can be hacked through the servers

Leaks normally happen when the cds are being distributed to the placer where they will be sold. This is normally done 1 week before, hence why Born This Way leaked on the wednesday before...
