Wearing black to a wedding is not rude, it's only depressing if everyone wears black on accident. I once happened to be at a wedding where I was one of the most colorful people and I was wearing royal blue

that's not rude. It depends on the theme & setting of a wedding. Colors, formal or informal (casual), classic or modern, dress codes or a specific era or theme (dress ups) & also the weather season.

Tonight's gig was actually scheduled around December. Doubt they knew The Voice finale would be the same day. A lot of the corporate gigs she's doing (minus the Microsoft stuff) were scheduled many months ago.

Blake's manager is all up in her lady biz every night tho. I'm sure he knew what day The Voice finale was since TV shows/seasons are planned out far in advance too. And if he didn't know, that would make him a poor manager.

The Voice finale date wasn't announced until a few weeks the season started. Usually ends in May, but this season it went till June.

The company had announced she was performing at this event last year sometime around Nov-Dec. I like to be organized
