I mean in PCD everything was organized and planned. the costumes, the set designs, the performances, the singles.
She had Jeff as her manager, Robin as creative director and Mikey as an exclusive choreographer.
while now she has Jacquel as her choreographer who she just borrows from Beyonce, Herself and well...... Melissa.

Nah. Her Name Is Nicole was with the PCD team, that era was one big mess. countless pushbacks, her team leaked songs to see which songs got good response, the random single releases. And Mikey also got repeative at points. And just look at Doll Domination that team also has put flaws in them, I mean nobody is flawless, but the way they handled Bottle Pop and the re-release was just one huge mess....I mean we had like 10 different re-releases, while they kept talking about DD 2.0. and only Australia got that basically.
Nicole just never should have left PCD that soon. Fergie, Gwen, Beyoncé, Justin Timberlake, Robbie Williams etc. all stayed atleast two full length era's with their groups before trying a solo venture. That way you keep the fans happy, gain enough exposure to people to want you to go solo and she could have mantained those people.
Nicole already was the leadsinger of PCD, she could have ride the boat until it got broken and then tried solo.
That first solo try has damaged her in a way and since then, she obviously is lost in her musical direction, and her label doesn't seems to do anything to get her on the right course full time. Ofcourse they pushed her to RedOne and will.i.am this time. But she needed fulltime guidance.
I bet if Nicole would have been puppeted for atleast two era's full time, she would have a solid enough basis for a career. But I feel that is a bit late at this point, that should have happened a long time ago.
Nicole can only gain little steps, but lose even more. Her fanbase is spread over countries she never focuses on. The UK still has a warm heart for her, but radio still blacklist her for all we know. This base here could have been huge, but we have like a handful of fans here active regularly. So many pushbacks, shelved projects, and a lot of them also happened under Jeff and the PCD clan.
I don't think Melissa is bad at all, but she is going from one side to an other and I think she works
for Nicole and not really
with her if you get what I mean. I feel Nicole has a load more say in her relationship with her manager than most singers do. Managers are to guide, to make profit to some extend. I can't see any manager being honestly happy with the results Nicole does music wise. Those endorsement deals look nice on your bank account, but if you keep screaming you are a singer at heart...then share your art.
I still wonder how her contract is built up and how she and Interscope communicate. She really must be putting her own money in her musical projects. I can't see them investing that much, especilaly not if 9 of the 10 music related projects end up in nothing.
