Poker Face US sales are almost Umbrella WW sales, Rihanna is only the biggest digital seller because she releases 1000000 songs that sells 1~3M, while Gaga has an average of 5~7M per song.
If Umbrella at its time broke all kinds of digital records why is Girlfriend by Avril Lavigne the biggest selling song from 2007?

I never accused the Navy of being the first ones to bring up sales. Monsters brought them up to negate a dumb claim that discography sales make Rih more memorable. I merely pointed out that, on this thread page alone, the Navy is contradicting themselves. Next time, know the whole story before you start typing. You end up looking stupid.

Both Poker Face and Bad Romance are in more movies and series than any Rihanna song, the fact that songs like Diamonds are already forgotten..

And before any Navy fans catch hard feelings, Gaga having memorable hits doesn't take anything away from Rihanna's success with singles.
Even today with Gaga's complete absence from both the real world media and social media, you ask anyone about Bad Romance, Pokerface or even BTW, they'll know exactly who you're talking about.

The monsters have been really hostile lately. You guys aren't even worth the points. Rihanna has 28 platinum singles and 12 number ones. Gaga hasn't had a hit since 2011. I think the only ones living in the past are the little monsters.  I use umbrella because we all know its more iconic than any gaga song.

While I understand your sentiments in the "forehead" and abuse jokes being a bit out of line, there was nothing wrong with his argument or logic. Gaga sells more on average - what hits she have are bigger globally than Rihanna's. That's nothing but pure fact.
