I do hope she evolves from the Teenage Dream sound and content, but I wouldn't mind Teenage Dream-like success.

I'd like a similar amount of change as there was between OOTB and TD.
A hooky Katy-fied Top 40 spin on chamber pop would be my ideal direction for album 3.
I hope she retains ABBA as one of her main sources of inspiration.
No one would I wouldn't even mind the generic-ness.
But it would be embarrasing if she plays it safe with an album full of "hits" and fails miserably a la Warrior

To think if Dr. Luke produced 11 out of 12 songs.
I am sure Dr. Luke gives his best to Katy, since she gives him more WW success than any of the other girls lately. Plus, Capital and Katy won't accept (hopefully) another Warrior.

Didn't Ester Dean confirmed a song called "Edge" (produced by Stargate) for this album? I remember reading it in an interview last year
Friday, the final day of sessions, was quiet. Dean came in, later than usual, to add bridges and some extra verses to the songs they had worked on. While waiting for her, Hermansen reviewed their output for the week. Besides “How You Love It,” there was a fiery up-tempo number called “Edge.” (Dean had also claimed this one for herself, on Wednesday, when they wrote it, but by Friday the song was being referred to as “the Katy Perry song.”) There was also a promising R. & B. song they had composed on Thursday, although the hook wasn’t strong enough yet.

Katy is very smart so I have no doubt it will be a little different to TD (sound-wise), tho I remember her saying she didn't want to make a 180* change so I guess it will have some similarities here and there.
What I want her to do is replicate & surpass the TD era success.
