Talking to Hive he revealed, “I have so many people I’m working with right now. I’m submitting records for Britney Spears‘ new album and a couple of people that are reaching out, like the Jay-Zs and the Kanyes and stuff like that, and Eminem.” Then he added, “I’m also working with Travis Barker, I’ll be doing all the production for his new album.”

Femme Fatale was an underperformance in the US. But not a flop. Madonna sold less with Hard Candy and American Life [in the US] despite the fact that when both those albums were released the album selling market was far healthier.

Rihanna sells out stadiums because she is young, relevant, and her career is still rather new. In context, we can assume that she really became a household name in 2007, so her career is really only about 6 yrs. old vs. Britney who is 15 yrs. into hers. And, quite honestly, Britney's never booked stadiums in Europe! How can we assume that she can't sell them out if she's never booked them?!

I think its a bad idea to bring up Madonna since one there's ageism on the radio, two shes been around for over 20years.

Rihanna also sells stadiums because her ticket prices make sense. If Britney has sensible prices and a big hit in Europe or WW then it wouldn't be hard to sell out stadiums too.

Britney could sell out if she lowered her prices, and came down to earth like the rest of the pop girls. There is a reason why her Femme Fatale tour date in Orlando had DOUBLE the gross the Circus Tour had at the same venue despite, the Circus Tour date being at 100% capacity and the Femme Fatale tour date at 86% capacity. Her tickets are more than Celine.

I love her, but that is ****ing ridiculous.

Someo of you guys don't even know what you're talking about.

1) Femme Fatale is not a flop album, it was just an average basic album on the current climate of music bussiness, it was disappointing , but I don't think Britney has ever experienced in her career what a real hardcore flop album is. Despite all the mess with Femme Fatale, Britney is still in a fantasy world , with 7 albums already she still doesn't know how is to struggle to reach the 500K WORLDWIDE with an album like it has happened to lots of artists in the bussiness with less albums out.


2) Rihanna is not a stadium artist , I checked for her Diamonds tour dates, and the 90% or 95% of them are ARENA dates, and just a few stadium dates on the countries she is most popular at extreme low / cheap prices.

Which is why Rihanna sells tickets. If Britney has a world tour now with expensive ticket prices it will do even worse. Whoever is managing the prices are doing her wrong. There's a reason why Circus has better numbers. It's all comes down to cost.

But I think the strategy that Britney used for her Femme Fatale tour worked, she prefered to sell really expensive tickets even if she couldn't sell out, instead of having a full arena or stadium sold out at cheap price.

it kind of worked at the end, According to Forbes Britney earned more money with "The Femme Fatale era" than Rihanna with "Loud era"

And yes her tickets were f*cking expensive, I still can't believe she performed for 8K people in Venezuela and grossed + $3 million from that date

Britney can outgross FF and Circus if she finds the perfect median. That's all she needs really. Britney can sellout Yankee Stadium for all I know with amazing ticket prices. It doesn't have to be cheap to has to be obtainable.
