So I just watched VHS2, well the first three segments, about to watch the fourth one
and so far VHS2 >>>>>>>>>>>>> VHS
I was so freaked out at the eye one. I jumped so many times even though I was expecting it
The second one was great. The third one was a little bit too crazy for me to fully appreciate tho :doc
This happens with every horror movie it seems. They have good trailers and everyone gets their hopes way too high. I've completely stopped watching trailers and listening to people completely. All I know is that I want to see The Purge--I've yet to see a single trailer or clip or even really know the plot (something about the government lets people do things, that's all I know...)
I've started doing this after I watched The Strangers trailer like 100 times before the movie came out and it basically had spoiled everything.
Now, I don't watch trailers so I can't spoil or anything or get my hopes up so that way hopefully I'll be less let down in the end. Because I always seem to be let down by horror movies.
I don't understand the negativity about "just another home invasion film" with The Purge. Is it NOT supposed to be? Or did you select few think it was just going to show people doing whatever they want the whole film? Cannot comprehend, still excited to see it.
I saw The Purge tonight. I'm kind of disappointed, but I also loved it. The
twist was unexpected
and I liked the story but it went by REALLY quick. Almost all of the action scenes were shown in the trailer... there really weren't that many.
The killers were creepy as **** though... that was awesome. I'd give it a 7/10. I hope they make the sequel longer.
Okay i saw V/H/S last night. My friends and i were so freaking creeped out during the first tape
The third tape was terrible. The second one was alright, the ending was shocking. The one with the girl and guy on skype was alright and the last one in the haunted house was pretty damn awesome.
I loved the movie, i think it's so innovative! I'm downloading V/H/S 2 now and my friends are coming over again. It better be as good or better as the first one.
i was so excited for that one and i dont like that its getting generally negative reviews! 
I'll probably watch it tomorrow night.

I just don't understand old-school horror movies but they are really funny. I loved it.
