Because we can't. Like, I know Britney did it in 2008, but there is A LOT of hype surrounding Bernice her releases. More so than Britney's at least. I mean, I don't doubt Britney's power, but with all things considered, I think she couldn't beat Beyonce in a first week sales NOW.

310K. Not far off from Femme Fatale's opening week. So, yes, perhaps with a good performance. But it's questionable whether Britney can actually deliver said good performance.

Britney can triumph whoever she wants, with promotion and hype

It's plain and simple, that thing listed above actually did hardcore promotion for its lead in single and album week, and aside from GaGa, didn't even do double her first week.

If Britney takes the time, then she will be fine. Bitch doesn't even have to perform. And I'm sure they have struck up a deal with Caesar Group to help on the promotional front, they better .

Umm............Beyonce was coming off the back of an album that sold twice as much as Circus yet 4 was predicted the sell the EXACT same amount as FF was in its first week (with 10 ten times as much promo done before) the only difference is that Beyonce actually bothered to PROMOTE and promoted WELL, if Britney released a killer single and made an effort in performing she could outsell Beyonce first week.
