Is there something funny? It's a fact SM buys old songs and spruces them up. Sometimes it turns out amazing and other times not. Their groups have very little input into the music or creative side of what they record, which is a shame because many of them are talented, as you say.

True, but that doesn't make SM acts inferior to any other acts from other companies. SM artists are some of the best singers and dancers in kpop.

There are artists like Henry who show that SM artists are just as talented in the writing department.

Well I did praised SNSD, I even said that Baby Maybe was one of my song of 2013, but once again bringing SNSD on topic when they are not the subject it's one of your faves things of the SONEs. I can't help it from other.

I agree, and no one is diminishing their talents like people here are doing to GD. I mean I could easily go on a dragging spree of every SNSD comeback in Korea since 2010 and how awful all those albums were and how stuffed with filler each of them was but at the end of the day that doesn't take away from what talent they do have, it's just in a different area than where GD excels, and both are equally valuable.

A mess. Y'all are so quick to jump on the "old myspace demos~~" "YG acts produces and writes" when there are plenty of SM idols that wrote and/or produced like Yuri, Tiffany, BoA, Minho, Changmin, Donghae, Zhou Mi, Henry and a lot more.

Jonghyun has written A LOT for Shinee and he's always posting lyrics of his self-composed songs, yet SM never makes it well known like YG.

I mean, how many articles did YG release about CL and her debut? "CL helped editing her music video" "CL helped on the lyrics of her song" "YG very satisfied about MV result" "YG changes CL's song title" "YG reveals song title has nothing to do with Hyori" "GD & YB to make cameo on CL's MV".

YG is all about bragging about his idols talents but in the end of the day he has the final word, he decides the main concept, he decides who's getting the project, if he doesn't like he WILL change it. This YG and faux sense of "freedom" is so overrated.

Well in SNSD's defense the fillers problem is SM being cheap not their lack of writing skills.
