"MDNA" was pretty much "Femme Fatale" with a brain -- which most Britney stans (have?) worshiped -- so I don't see the problem.

" Femme Fatale with a brain" is actually an ingenious description. " Femme Fatale with a soul" would work too. 
I think it could fit her well though.

Lyrically, yes. But I don't think FF was meant to be a serious album. It was directed as a fun, dance record. The songs in FF are better in MDNA too. By a large margin.

MDNA is better than FF. Songs like Masterpiece is far superior to anything on FF.

The original concept of the album (confirmed by producers, not that ******** from Exhale) was different.
"MDNA" obliterates "Femme Fatale" lyrically (the lyrics on every song are kind of the pits) and I think they’re about even production-wise.

MDNA is a complete triumph in mediocrity. It made the biggest mistake a pop album can make...it doesn't have a single memorable song. Even its "good songs" won't stand the test of time in her discography. Even a complete mess like Bionic features triumphs for Legend X.
It is not bad, and it's not good. It is just there, in other words it is P!nk...and I can't think of being anything worse.
