She had finished an album with will.i.am and Antony Preston (and their peers) in fall 2012, she put it on hold for XFactor, released Boomerang begin 2013, but started recording again aswell, it's what Nicole always does. Nicole also basically did a whole record with RedOne, but then released Poison and jumped in the studio again.

That worked out well because I think Killer Love was great. I wonder what other unreleased tracks with RedOne there are. The three that leaked weren't that good except Guns and Roses so I'm glad she went back into the studio.

Nicole's version was, I don't know about Pitbull's. Antony told me that they decided against ti to use it for her album and then soon after that Pitbull took it back for his record.

Boomerang should've been released as a buzz single from the start. It's not a very good song to just "listen to" but instead better for a workout. It's very corny and most empowering songs don't see good chart positions all the time. The instrumental is really annoying and sounds poorly produced too. She needs better writers and producers like the PCD and HNIN eras. I'm rooting for you Nicole, please don't let us down.

Her Name Is Nicole is a shelved album. We're actually getting an album here, but I don't think it's going to be what was originally planned to be released. The original album was already completed, but now it looks they're scrapping some of the original tracks. She was in studio with Mike Will Made It so I guess they're going for an urban sound.

basically #6 in THE uk AND the only country it was released beside the Uk were Ireland and New Zealand

Beautiful is a ballad. On the other hand, Boomerang is an uptempo dance pop track. There's clearly a difference.

I really think that she should rush One More Shot for a summer release.. I'm sure ALL that material couldn't be that horrible that she had to scrap the full album.
