I would have to agree with this, It seems as though Gaga went back in and said.. "lets add this here" finished the song and listened to it again and continued to add more, "I need to scream here"...
"I need to put down some more clicking sounds"
"Turn me up on Americano, so that you can barely hear the instruments"
"I'm gonna show them I can sing, raise the volume...."
I feel like she did so much of that while doing BTW it all sounds like a loud piece of [insert German word for **** here]. Though I really like it, BM, EC, HML and to some extent HU all sound very fresh and less of that noise.

I'd like to contribute to the Zedd & Madeon convo, as it was brought to my attention about it last night but I was already in bed and didn't really want to respond..
Here's the thing about Zedd.. Currently "Clarity" featuring Foxes is in the Top 20 on iTunes, Top 20 on Pop Radio, Top 30 on Hot 100, #1 on Dance/Club Play Songs, Top 5 on Dance/Electric Songs, Top 4 on Dance/Electric Digital Songs, Top 2 on Dance/Mix Show Airplay, Top 10 on Dance/Electric Streaming Songs, and lets not forget that this song is gaining +100 spins a day on Pop Radio.. "Spectrum" reached Top 50 on Pop Radio.. "Beauty And A Beat" was Top 10 on Hot 100, Pop, and alot of other formats.. Let's not forget he's a MONSTER at creating Dance hits! His new remix for Empire Of The Sun "Alive" which got released yesterday is being crazily supported by most DJ's.. And not only is it huge, it's a TOTALLY different sound for Zedd as well, proving he can do ALOT with his productions.. I'm waiting for him to release "Lost At Sea" as the next Pop single once "Clarity" is finished as it could do as well as "Clarity" is doing.. I'm not worried about Zedd, either we'll have massive Pop Hits or massive Dance Hits.. My one concern is that his productions were done last year/beginning of this year, and he's learned alot more since then and is producing differently as well.. But it's always possible for him to release a "Pop Radio Remix" for a song as well.. Zedd is a monster currently in the EDM and Pop world.. I have no worries minus that one about him..
Onto Madeon.. Boy oh boy, you all are in for a TREAT!! Madeon is the PERFECT music producer there is out there! I'm not exaggerating either.. Lets start off with "The City" featuring Zak Waters & Casse Lowe.. I'm really sad that radio did not support the song as much as I hoped it would, because it would have easily done extremely well had it had support behind it.. C89.5 or KNHC, a Top 40 Dance Radio located in Seattle proved my theory as well.. The station is located in a High School and is helped run by the students as well as the song choices.. Madeon was a HUGE hit with the students, especially "The City", reaching the #1 spot on the Station for many weeks! I tested this theory out in my own High School with students who I know hate EDM, Electronic, etc.. I played "The City" for them and they instantly fell in love with the song.. And they have since bought it and had it on repeat for many weeks.. During my Senior Year last year, the Seniors run a show called, Senior Benefit (much like SNL).. We used "The City" for the intro video as well as for part of the boys dance too.. The students loved it! I could easily see "The City" doing extremely better than "Clarity" had it had support behind it.. Now onto more tracks! Madeon is expected to release his DEBUT album later this year, and it's most looked after album of this year (EDM wise).. Madeon is becoming one of the Top 5 DJs and Producers in the WORLD, and he's only 18.. His productions are not dull nor are they boring either.. They are the most unique, creative productions out there in the market actually.. And let's not forget Madeon is a perfectionist.. So the tracks will be nothing less than Perfect.. I have not a single worry about Madeon's tracks.. If anything, I can bet that Madeon's tracks will be the most liked tracks as well (as long as the lyrics are good)..
This is my input, and I do think I am the most informed about Zedd & Madeon as well on the forum, so I have no doubt Gaga will do go either in the Pop world or EDM works

My opinion is pretty much the same as yours, I'm not worried at all with these two genius. I mean I get why some people could be worried because of the argument that they are too new at pop albums and that they have to get some more experience or whatever... but if you get into their work you'll see the raw talent that these guys have. They have a lot to bring to the table and their work so far has a magnificent quality. They are not of the best in their leagues for no reason. A part from this, it's good to know that Gaga wants to bet on something new and refreshing for her music. Sometimes if you don't take some risk you don't win, and I'm sure that both parts Gaga and Zedd/Madeon will benefit from this collaborative work.

So true I agree with the both of you. DJWS definitely has some great production skills and I actually really love most of his productions on BTW the most. I think that Gaga just wanted something that was huge, and she compensated that with a loud bass blasting sound.
