I don't get why so many people are upset about the product placement. Kelly has done it before in MLWSWY, for Nokia as well. Remember the scene when she took pictures in the car which almost caused her boyfriend to collide with another car? So I don't get why people make such a big deal out of it. It even kinda fit into the plot.

Yeah the product placements didn't bother me. Pretty much every artist does it. Labels don't have the money like they used to, so they have to go with endorsements to get the money.


The phone was a small hint in the plot. When Kelly takes a step back to take the picture, the phone is in color... meaning Kelly was also in color all along. She was disguised as a "black and white" scientist to get the little girl out and return back to the color world. Also, cute idea of them going through a tunnel. Like the expression goes -- there's light at the end of the tunnel.

My only issue with the product placement was with the Nokia phone. It was in color when it should have been in black and white to coincide with the story. That's my only issue. But aside from that, the video is amazing.

I love the metaphors involved. How the scientist's analyzation of the girl was symbolic of how people judge "people like us" for something we can't control. And I loved the ending.

It's tomorrow, it's only an hour long. So far the people announced are Blake, Miranda, Reba, Vince Gill, Luke Bryan, Rascal Flatts, Ryan Tedder, Darius Rucker, and Usher.


Maybe Kelly was booked for the studio tomorrow or something? Or maybe she'll be a surprise guest and sing with Reba or Blake? A few years ago Blake and Reba had a benefit concert for another Oklahoma town that suffered tornado damage, and Kelly was an unannounced special guest. I hope she can participate in it!

I think the phone was suppose to be in color to show that Kelly was also in color, but was disguised as a black and white scientist. That's why when Kelly puts the little girl's hand on her face she wipes the "black and white" off and revels that she's just like her too.

My favorite part is the escape from the lab, and of course the part where the girl touches Kelly's face and gives her color. The shots of KC singing and dancing in the blue dress are also flawless
