A guy auditioned and sang "Baby one more time", and the guy did a visible awful audition (he got 4 No's from the judges), the audition and his singing were clearly terrible and bad, and Simon told him that for one second he thought that Britney Spears was on stage singing

I mean If the performance was so clearly bad , I don't understand why Simon would make that comment, he told the guy that he really sounded like Britney on stage, and then he gave it a "NO".
