His album sales are like 600K in the US which is pretty impressive, & his songs have gotten a ton of radio exposure, especially on AC. His singles don't flop at all but they don't sell how I would expect them to. His label is very proactive & does discounts/promo where needed.
His popularity will explode sooner or later it's just a matter of when. I am bit hard on his singles performance because he has the potential to release singles that sell 3, 4, or 5+s of millions & make major impact. Especially later in his career. Touring with Swift was the perfect move, they're a good musical match. The + singles will be solid platinum/2x certified singles in the end, he'll just continue to build on this.

I hope he's still not performing Lego House in September. Honestly, that wasn't the best single choice for summer anyway. You Need Me, I Don't Need You would've worked well & been a nice contrast to the serious ballad The A-Team.
He's releasing his new album early next year so he should premiere his first single on the VMAS stage. Then release the album in January. He could easily get his 1st #1 album this way & Jan is a great month for new artists to gain ground (K$, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis are examples). Or he could release in Feb & recreate 21.

But anyways Amazon has 100 albums for $5 and I just bought Back to Black, The Band Perry, and xx.

How much have Come & Get It and Heart Attack sold so far? Imma need both girls over that 2 million mark ASAP. They aren't basic bitches anymore, its time to claim the throne.

The airplay will be slow to catch up as always, so we probably will still be on Lego House in September.
And on a different yet related note, Tegan and Sara will still be on "Closer" at the time, so if they are asked to perform at the VMAs as well (I have a feeling they will, since they hosted the MTV Movie Awards), they'll probably perform it.

I think if Ed had a more solid followup to The A-Team he could've broken through the adult formats enough to be a staple, but Lego House is stalling horribly on all three of them, and its pop airplay is fairly weak.

You could have done the tiny reasearch in the first place 
Sorry if I came off rude, just look through the last pages and maybe you can understand that it's getting annoying, especially because of the special situation with Clouds.
