Lady Gaga’s big-screen debut in Robert Rodriguez’s “Machete Kills” came thanks to a chance encounter in an LA tattoo parlor. The film’s star, Danny Trejo, was getting some new ink at Shamrock Social Club in LA, right next to Gaga, shortly before the movie started production, a spy said. When the “Poker Face” singer overheard Trejo saying his next project would be a “Machete” sequel, Gaga piped up and said she’d like to work with Rodriguez. “Danny called Robert and told him Gaga wanted to be in the movie,” our source said. By the time Trejo showed up on the set, Gaga was in the film that had also cast Sofia Vergara, Charlie Sheen, Mel Gibson, Jessica Alba, Antonio Banderas and Vanessa Hudgens.
I'm not sure, but I'm doing some calculations now and I think that Gaga is the #5 female touring artist ever based on attendance (in addition to like #4 in gross, but we knew that already). And with only two tours.

Yeah, no. Gaga looked amazing most of the time. You guys like to exaggerate the few bad looks you don't like to make it seem like the entire era was bad fashion wise.
Damn, I sound like a bitch. Sorry. It's just strange how many fans completely miss the point of BTW despite how many times Gaga has explained it. It's not always about being pretty or being number one, it's about making a statement. That's how you're remembered.
I do think we tend to overrexagerrate. We try to find excuses for why she didn't do as well as she did, this era wasn't horrible but people will say anything to make it feel as such. but we can't pretend others don't have opinions either.
