as far as I know, Demi gets a lot of hate in certain circles because of how much she "exploited" her issues with bulimia/self-harm/drug use etc; kinda like how Rih has been using Chris Brown as an artistic crutch for the past four years.

I would rather see an artist "exploit" her personal issues with self-esteem and help another person than an artist exploiting their volatile/polarizing relationship on instagram
