There is nothing stuck up about this song. Self confidence does not equal arrogance.

Also, how can you not relate to this? The "I" can apply to anyone, not just herself.

Not stuck up? I've only listen about two times but doesn't she say something like "Bitches I run this ****"? If thats not stuck up I don't know what is! And I really can't relate to this since I'm neither grown or a woman

"Bitches I run this" is in the song, yes. But that's not even a clear sentence about what she means and it's more of a background lyric than a main one. Any other stuck up examples that actually mean something?

At 1:40 she says "And I'm making...." and then I can't quite make out the rest but I'm assuming its about how much money she makes? Sorry but that just screams tacky, wouldn't you think a normal person in a normal job who ran about bragging about their salary was acting like a fool? I also hate when people use the word bitch or bitches to refer to people in a song, it sounds so juvenile and ke$haish.

Sorry but I don't. Most women don't respond well to other women who have a air of arrogance. Independent Women is more like a feminist anthem that promotes female confidence, Grown Woman is basically a song about how amazing the singer is and how we should all love her because "She runs this".

I respect your opinion but if you're going to come with something at least have your facts straight and know what you're talking about. She says she's making "all these racks". I'm not sure what that means either but if you want to go with your way of thinking, let's assume that means money. She didn't say "more racks than you" or "the most racks" just "all these racks." That's firstly a fact, and secondly any grown woman should be earning her own money. That's what makes you grown. You have the freedom to do whatever you want because you're not relying on other people. It's not exclusive to Beyonce nor is it bragging about how much she makes.
