Anyway, I like it - but yes, the sense of surprise and unknown is all gone because we've heard it a few times live. I like what they did with the instrumentation and the African chanting.

Woke up bopping to this! I don't get the RTW comparisons though. RTW was DANCEHALL influenced while this is clearly AFROBEAT/TRIBAL. Either way all pay tribute to the home of Rhythm MAMA AFRICA!

It's nice but I thought hearing the studio version would be surprisingly better. I felt I'd heard it all before, no excitement. Goes way too long too, it gets boring after the second listen and it'll be downright annoying if it's a hit. The "down like that" and "all these racks" parts sound so much worse in this final (?) version, they were one of the best things in the live performance but here they just feel very weak and just like they don't really add anything to the song; I don't even know why I guess in the live performance you couldn't really hear the vocals that play behind the filtered voice and it just sounds better. I like the album's vibe though, very warm sounds island like for summer; I'm sure the album won't disappoint I've really been getting into the standing on the sun snippets and she's probably left the best to surprise everyone.
