There are fans who are obsessed with charts, there are those who aren't, but at the end of the day sales still mean everything in this industry, whether it's album, single or tour ticket sales.

I rather have an album that is amazing start to finish than an album that sold 5 million copies but is complete ****.

I'm just saying that 15 years in her career sales are not everything. Its the material she puts out. Sales may matter to the industry but the quality matters to the listener.

I want a quality album as well, but I'm not going to pretend I don't care if it sells 5m copies or 1 copy just because I am going to love the album anyways.

I want her to do really well commercially this era, especially after the FF era!

Artists do everything to sell their stuffs. It's all aboout sales. I agree that charts dont matter much Ex: Britney era. If they can't sell their stuffs, they will stop making new music because no one is going to buy it. Again sales and charts show success and longevity of an artists. That's why most people said Xtina and Avril are done

Sales are still important to singers like Britney but it's up to the artists whether they want to perform commercially successful or give an album solely to the fans which means they don't really care about sales anymore (X etc.).

I agree!!! She needs to show the world that she's still an amazing performer or it will affect Vegas show and her next tour.

She needs to consider on VMAs this year. I think they are still always here for her.

Right? I'm glad we're being realistic here. The only way Vegas will be a success is if she proves she's worth the hundred of bucks that people will be paying to see her. Critics will pan & ruin her vegas residency from reciews if she doesn't shine the way she must and perform like FFTney.
VMA's will probably be before Vegas, so yes! She should probably get Larry/Adam to bid on getting the opening performance at the show, and just give it her all. We all know she has the potential, she just needs motivation and passion.

I'm so optimistic, but I want to be realistic at the same time.

To get great reviews, Britney needs to perform all ballads live. She can lip sync dance songs, so she can fully do choreography. And I believe wouldn't mind her for lip syncing to dance songs.

she needs to bring her energy back, at least circus energy. and her body needs to be on point. But I know these are too much to ask for
