1. Honestly, I didn't do anything for me at all. Though I didn't dislike it either.
2. It has really grown on me over time, but it still isn't one of my favorite songs of theirs.

4. Nope. It was exactly what they needed at the time and I don't think any other song on the album would have been able to launch their careers like this song did.

Despite that I think the song is good, I always found it to be a little bit too "middle of the road midtempo track" to be able to stan for the song. Which is probably a big part of why I never really stanned for One Direction until Take Me Home was released. I was passively aware of who 1D was during the period when the song was successful since I follow reality TV and Tumblr, but nothing grabbed me.

1. I thought it was basic/generic/etc.
2. It grew on me and when they performed it at the Olympics I think it was one of the highlights of their career so far.
3. Zayn looked the hottest he's ever looked IMO so I can always go back and watch it.
4. I would tell Liam not to sing the first verse like that (so freaking low and throaty) cause honestly it's kinda funny and most parodies made sure to pick that up.

I find it interesting that so few male 1D stans like the song. Maybe because we know the song is not to 'us'? Glad to know we have you to stan for it though lol.

I wonder how many male 1D stans there actually are. I only know of the ones on here and a handful on Twitter. & I've never come across a straight male 1D stan (most likely because they don't exist).

1. I actually liked it. While it was generic for a debut lead single, it did generate interest like it was intended.
2. The funny thing is while I really liked that song in the beginning, after hearing the rest of the album (and after One Thing being my introduction to 1D), it actually ranks middle of the list for UAN.
3. Really basic. There's not much else I can say for it.
4. Can't say that I would. It actually helped me pinpoint the stronger vocals out of the boys.
