Yeah, but the boys usually record the album during the Summer don't they? I remember the recording of Take Me Home didn't happen until around this time last year. They'll record, have a new single out by late Summer, then the album will be out in November as usual
I don't want them to rush into a new album too quickly. They'll burn the tyre faster than it need be. Every boy band becomes novelty to themselves after a while, but if they release an album every 12 months, they'll unnecessarily speed up the process.
Ideally they could release Spring 2014, since they've already been mighty exposed for the past 2 years nearly and they'll be everywhere this summer too with the movie. Actually, didn't they say they would take a break for a few months after the tour?

Their release schedule will be virtually identical to TMH's imo.

Yes but they're contractually obligated to release their first 3 albums in the Fall of each year. They have some JLS-type deal going on. But I agree that after this third album they should take their time and really put a lot of effort into the next one!
No their contract is for their NEXT 3 albums for one a year.
So they will have to take their time after album......5.
Omg WHAT
Ugh, we're going to keep getting these teeny, Rami Yacoub/Carl Falk same production-filled albums until 2015? Noooooo. I hope the label realizes the boys' sound and image need to mature if they want to still be relevant past the 4th album!

Come now. If Rihanna's team can pump out an album a year and change the sound up enough to get acclaim so can 1D.
Yes, but at least Rihanna works with different producers each album and her go-to producers (Stargate) change up their sound. The boys keep relying on these Swedish producers that, while they make some cute singes, all sound like a WMYB rehash
Tbh I'm fine if the boys decide to split up after their contract is done. 5 years and 5 albums is enough of them for me as long as they pursue solo careers afterwards. Kings Liam and Zayn will become the new JTs of British Pop music, obviously. And Queen Louis will start his own fashion line, etc, etc
I think it's likely they'll at least do two or three more albums after the fifth one as a group. I don't see any of them actually being as successful as Timberlake did.
Maybe not on a global scale, but I think some of them will remain relevant at least in the UK (hopefully it's not just Harry ) But hew knows if some of us will even be stanning for them 3 years from now, hmmm?
My guess is that they break up (if they do....I don't think it is a given) after the 5th album and will try solo works. Then will get back together if (when) they flop individually.
