It has its own unique vibe. It's mostly influenced by heartbreak but still remains happy at some points and you totally feel like riding on a rollercoaster. A real mystery bag (although she claims that about every album, and except for IND and FH every album is lacking of that...). It gave us her spectacular tour and a lot of amazing tunes: So What, THE breakup anthem, Sober, a dark, classic rock influenced masterpiece, One Foot Wrong, Eg White-produced song about falling deep and let yourself go, PDLM, its building to harmonies, Bad Influence, the most well-produced party song of hers, Funhouse, the oddball of the album with amazing beat and her best bridge ever, Mean, the country fan-favorite and Glitter In The Air, which is undoubtedly her best ballad ever. And I've still not talked about Boring, WDIELY or When We're Through, the artwork, photoshoots, the performances and its tour. The album doesn't seem so cohesive but there are highs and lows, happiness and sad times, but guess what, that's how love works.
1. I'm Not Dead - flawless masterpiece that will never get old. And very personal for me.
