Yep, Lord. Do not change who you are to fit these idiotic expectations for celebrities. I am sure she still loves to have a blast and drink sometimes but you can do that while staying classy as well.
Taylor's delivery on the line of ATW "Now you mail back my things and I walk home alone", when she hits that higher note on "things" and then very slightly and subtly extends the "alo-oone" as if she's just about to break down into tears....
Agree with you
That part just makes the bridge more perfect
I love how she sings "T-ball team" and "mailed back my things" parts
I don’t worry about [people who say I’m too much of a good girl] because the people who say that, it’s like, wow, you are really trying to find something you don’t like about me.
I kind of feel like the Red era is just like Speak Now. A lot of you were going crazy over Enchanted never becoming a single and saying you were going to jump ship and stuff and most people found some type of complaint in the singles. The difference was, during the Speak Now era ya'll didn't care so much about single success and crap like that. Sure there were meltdowns but there were fabulous music discussions occurring. People in the base were sharing their favorite music, sharing cool reviews, sharing insights on the current state of the music industry and pop culture in general. I think this base has lost too much of that and got kinda power hungry. Honestly despite the pop songs, I'm really proud of Taylor for red and the great songs she's written. I don't care whether or not they are singles. Her album has sold 5,000,000 and that is something to be proud of. And on the upside they have no choice but to release either Treacherous, Holy Ground, or State of Grace eventually.
I was listening to TLT the other day, and I just got to thinking how bad ass this would be as a single
Why won't she release her best songs?!?? She releases all of her generic songs I mean, how much control does she actually have
A lot. That's why She's not making moronic decisions like making the era-killer that is "The Lost Time" a single.
I cant believe she makes fun of Lucky you, or she calls that one line in Stay beautiful just a "bad lyric" yet she stands by 22 and even calls it her favorite song on Red
Like girl Lucky you and that line in SB are better lyrically that 22
