I've also been thinking about the actual album a lot in terms of the message of Born This Way, and how Gaga did a made a really great representation of what she wants to come across. The album is sonically, lyrically, and musically different (the people Gaga is trying to speak for), and you can either brush it off as challenging and confusing and weird and bad (the "bullies" who don't give people anything more than a superficial chance) or you get passed the nuances and pay attention the messages and the love within the album (accepting the outcast).

I think that's why that's why the album was written produced the way it was. Different, so that we can accept the differences and be able to love it for what it it.

It was pretty much inevitable She could only be some mysterious figure for so long, which made sense during her debut era (especially when she was all about Warhol).

She's an amazingly sweet (and funny) woman, it's great to see her actually caring about fans by chatting on LM.com and whatnot, and the BTWB seemed a lot less scripted with fan interaction, great stories from backstage, etc. It helps her build such a strong/devoted fanbase. And makes me love her even more.

What's important to me is that she still keeps a lot of stuff to herself, particularly about her relationships with Luc and Taylor. Too many celebrities totally exploit their personal life for publicity.

I get what you mean. During her debut years she was this untouchable self-shielded giant, but you could see she was slowly trying to be more of "I am one of you" artist. She also shared a reason for that; I remember she said in the ShowSTUDIO interview that upon meeting many household names and legends she saw they were the most caring and nice human beings, so she decided to stop hiding herself and just start being who she really was.

That's a great way to say it. But she just need to find a way to remain intricate, other worldly in relation to how she is right now. During TF era, she meant business and there's nothing stopping her from making sure she rises to the top and with the BTW era I kinda had the feeling that she was pulling back in some of her work. But yeah, she should remain true to her motto that her ART is separate from her being a Philantropist.

But she can still go back to being mysterious and "unrelateable" anytime. At least we know the human side of her exist

No one wants to be reminded that their lives are ****** and that they get bullied. What makes Gaga great is how otherworldly and unrelatable she is sometimes. I personally think Poker Face and Bad Romance are much more liberating than BTW or Hair.
