I think there was again a problem with picking the "radio friendly" lead single so they got Avril to record more and more, got her working with Kesha writer and eventually settled on HTNGU (that's why it was recorded only a few months ago). They are doing the same mistake RCA did with WTH

No offense to you at all but you got your facts mixed up. L.A wasn't "just a judge" he was also a mentor. He worked a lot with his contestants and I'm sure he was plenty busy. I'll post his quote again: ( L.A's answer when asked why he was leaving X Factor)
"I have a company to run that I've kind of neglected. I have a huge responsibility to a roster of artists and it’s kind of time for me to stop doing the ‘me’ show."
He even admits to neglected his artists. He screwed up Ciara by trying to do X Factor and start her era at the same time. The result? Every song failed and the album kept getting delayed. Now he is done X Factor and she happened to get a hit. (compared to her other songs) It wasn't a coincidence...
As for them picking HTNGU because it was "radio friendly"? I don't think so. When WTH released, Avril stated multiple times that it was the least personal song on the album and blamed RCA for the albums content delays. Obviously, Avril wasn't happy at all with RCA or she wouldn't of left to begin with. Avril said in the interview with Ryan that she picked HTNGU as the lead single and she was very excited that L.A agreed with her decision. This is the exact opposite of the GL situation.
I believe you guys are just looking for someone to blame for HTNGU's "failure" Epic hasn't done anything wrong yet and the promo schedule looks great so far.
