I was rewatching her interview on Howard Stern, one of my favorite interviews and performances, and they had an after show where the producers talked about the main show and the main producer said he was so impressed that Gaga could deliver such a powerful vocal performance at such an early point in the morning. He noted that so many guests have come in and delivered vocals that weren't quite up to par because of the early time the show comes on, but she was great.

And yes, this is what I was wanting to post earlier. I honestly can't think of a truly bad Gaga vocal performance. She always sounds as she would on the recording.
It's because she's a trained singer, she's been doing this for years, she's smart enough to adapt her songs to fit an acoustic setting, lower the key if necessary...
basically Gaga's music knowledge and intelligence allows her to succeed (at least vocally) most every performance.
She writes songs for herself that she can sing.
