It's a really good song and a good story too. And nope, it's not a Speak Now reject- it's back from her Sony days. Basically, $10 and a Six Pack, Under My Head, Me and Britney, REVENGE, Wait For Me, Nashville, Welcome Ditstraction (I think), and Till Brad Pitt Comes Along are all Sony songs that she wrote before Big Machine when she had her development deal. So Wait For Me is old, about the same time as REVENGE and all the others.
I don't think we'll ever hear Speak Now rejects to be honest. She was so much bigger by then that they were so careful with demos and other album cuts. Who knows, maybe one day!
