my parents know i stan for taylor. my mom wanted to go to the concert with me, but i said no and took my sister instead. my dad bops to WANEGBT and hums treacherous around the house frequently.
There's a reason why my parents don't know I stan for the pop girls, especially Gaga. They would take away my phone and computer to stop "poisoning my mind with all that gay ****". So if they ever find out, it looks like I'll be running away to avoid being pushed down to the ground 24/7.
That's horrible but this was literally my reaction when I read your post:
My parents don't care what kind of music I listen to. They actually enjoy a lot of it too so that's probably why. They look at it the same way I do, music is music and pop isn't bad or anything. At the same time, I've never done a school project on a pop female. (Or pop music in general)
I'm sorry about your mom.
But usually my dad just laughs about it. The rest of my family makes stupid remarks about how they "saw a Gaga wig on sale and (they) bet (I) would have drooled all over it". And they think they're comedic geniuses. Whatever. I don't really care about them. Only my dad. And he's cool with it,so yeah.
