They did disable the app access, but yes. And also, potential accomplices would be more likely to be following what would be posted/streamed on the Internet than the suspect himself.

I'm sure dying is what he wants cause he Knows the police and FBI want him alive. They don't wear bombing devices of themselves for no reason. They don't mind death as long as they kill others in the process.
