I didn't care for the concert footage(not that she was bad..it just didn't interest me) But I loved hearing about her and I wish there was more of that

No, I think you're reading it right. Sounds more like the song's for Bonnies album than Katys. It's a bit random that she brought it up here though, unless she was asked about writing with other artists or something.
