I wouldn't jump to conclusions. There are a lot of hotels in the area, and a number of them have courtyards, pools, terraces on them. It looks like it's gated, so I think that's more the case.

I could see that being a possibility, but I would think that multiple people would be watching from the rooftops. Why just one person? That's the part that's disturbing me.

I'm not. If anything, I'm trying to come to too many conclusions at once, and my mind is unable to cope with all of them. There are so many possibilities here that it's impossible to just say for certain that one of the theories is correct. We need more info before we can decide for sure what happened. But it's never too early to at least speculate on what happened, even if no one knows for sure.
