Yup. We're from the West indies doe. So it's reggae and ting, hence the musical influence in modern UK black music. I keep hearing about Kool Aid...is it good? We do have ginger beer and Stout though
I'm staying in the same town which is a plus but we are downsizing from my beloved house, which I have spent 15 of my 16 years in, to some apartment.
I'm halfway embarrassed. I mean there's nothing wrong with living in an apartment, but anyone who learns about this will be able to infer that we got money problems.

Was the house rented for all of those 15 years or it was one of those never-ending mortgages?
lol there's nothing wrong with living in a Apt. or going from a house to an Apt.
And I'll go in on anyone who tries to come at you. Any way, the economy isn't that stellar at the moment and a lot of people are still being laid off from their jobs or struggling to find work.
There are a lot of people going through hard times right now financially. It's nothing to be embarrassed about. At least you still have a roof over your head, many people don't even have that.
