Oh this thread turned into a mess.
To the person who's falling for his friend, if he's kissing you and saying he's straight then he's either sexually confused, or he's just leading you on. So just be careful. When falling in love there's always a chance you the person you're falling for won't catch you.
To the other person who likes their friend who also like them in return, I say go for it. If you both feel a connection, then at least attempt to make magic happen. You don't wanna have any regrets or what ifs. True, things can not work out in the end and the friendship can turn sour as a result but if you two are genuinely good for each other whether in a romantic sense or a friendship only sense, the awkwardness will fade over time. I know from personal experience.
Anyway, that ends my 2 cents.
