Mixtape Review: Cassie - Rocka Bye Baby
Cassie dropped her hot new mixtape ‘Rocka Bye Baby’ and featuring a huge range of collaborations from French Montana to Pusha T this had the potential to be a hugely successful mixtape release.
This mixtape could quite easily have been her second album but decided to give her fans something back.
A few of my favourite tracks are ‘Numb‘ featuring Rick Ross it is a slow R’N'B track but Cassie really expresses herself on the track and is a hot record. The last song on the mixtape called ‘All My Love‘ is a quicker paced track that has good beat that Cassie shows off her impressive voice.
Maybe dubbed a one hit wonder with her smash hit ‘Me & U’ she can finally wipe that away with this collection of hits.
The song is full of R’N'B tracks mainly but does dip into hiphop at times but on the whole the mixtape is a good release and should go down well in what is a build up to releasing her second album.
