Blackout got good chart statistics due to those physical sales which has a good release date which propelled the singles on the upper half of Top 10. Which is also the exact same reason why BTI didn't break the Top 10 because the it's only available in Woolworth in the first weeks of release.

That is true, but still the radio used to play her a lot more pre-X Factor. Circus (the single) was discounted to 0.69 on ITunes and still failed to reach the top 10.

If Britney's X Factor performance is the reason all her recent solo singles have been flopping in the UK, then why was Womanizer. the song she performed, her most successful post-breakdown solo hit there?
Everybody knows Britney mimes, but puts on a great show, which she did in 2008. She looked flawless, she didn't dance much, but she nailed the bridge of the song. Plus, she was singing over pre-recorded vocals. And the result was one of her best selling singles in the UK - it only peaked at #3 because there was a strong competition when it came out - and Circus, album, opened with huge numbers in the UK.
But ever since the X Factor UK appearance, they lost their interest in Britney and the only way she can chart again there if she goes there and promotes, just like the Circus era.

Orly because sure as hell those plays didn't translate to album sales. How did Blackout sell again compared to Circus?

Britney's got boring and UK's not here for that. Plain and simple, but at least they still watch her shows.

The lip-syncing scandal was really huge there, because no one else ever lip-synced on the X Factor as obviously as Britney did so the general public wasn't happy about it and it did ruin her image as a performer there.
The tickets sold out because the hype for the tour was insane, and that said she still has lots and lots of fans in the UK, it's just that the GP doesn't care anymore as radio pretty much stopped putting her singles in heavy rotation as they did prior to the X Factor controversy.
Really hoping that will change for the next era, I'm thinking the big success of S&S could help turn things around as well.

As stated, they were still high on physicial CDs then when iTunes was not yet a huge factor overseas. And yes there was a huge thing here on ATRL at the time about "Break the Ice" and its lack of physical singles over there. "Womanizer" performed so well, and better than "GM"/"POM" there (in sales) due to a year later digital downloads was becoming a more common thing in the UK.
If it ruined her so bad, the tour there wouldn't have done so well IMO. Sure, there was the hype, but people her exaggerate it so badly that you think they are burning pictures of her in the streets. She's always lip-synced, so I don't believe doing it on a TV show (where Cheryl Cole always lip-synced) suddenly impacts her negatively.
As far as radio not putting her in heavy rotation, they didn't do it for "Gimme More" or "Piece of Me" either, if I can recall neither charting high on their radio/video rotation lists at the time. I could be thinking of something else.
Either way, all of that just brings me back to my statement that she is not hot enough there anymore to just not do anything and expect good results.

Blackout: 275k
Circus: 350k
Not a huge difference considering she didn't promote Blackout in the UK at all, while with Circus she had huge exposure with the X Factor and FTR.

Is Blackout Britney's most global album?
U.S: 1,000,000
WW: 3,000,000
2 thirds of its sales came outside of the U.S.

She's not over in the UK. She just needs to promote there. They react to promotion. The little promo she did was when the era was long dead.

Exactly! The UK are very attentive, needy people. Majority of artists there (even their own) don't see their singles do well past the lead or second unless they are in the now acts or are actively promoting the tracks. One moment you have the #1 fastest selling song of the year, then your second single barely scratches #20, then you go perform the third single and it hits #4.
"Womanizer"/ Circus performed strongly due to that X Factor performance. If she didn't do that promo spot, they would've peaked week one and dipped out. The rest of the era floundered because she left it to die. The market there moves very fast as we can see on the charts.

It didn't sell that much internationally. ~1.5 million. MP and TSC are her most global albums if you're going by the US to INTL sales ratio.

As I know, the main reason that FF flopped in the uk is because radios didn't play her song

I still can't believe she doesn't have a #1 album in UK. Even Janet has one.

It would make a brilliant EP:
1. Gimme More
2. Piece Of Me
3. Radar
4. Heaven On Earth
5. Get Naked
6. Freakshow
7. Hot As Ice
So much better when you get rid of the trash.

Well, the most tragic travesty is In The Zone peaking at #13.

At least it sold well (~550k) and had good longevity: 14-37-51-59-65-62-50-61-61-45-20-17-17-15-15-18-18-28-33-37-35-40-52-60-36-28-30-25-22-27-32-21-19-13-20-25-32-39-38-49-57-65-75
It's surpsing it peaked so low consideirng how well the singles performed: 2-1-1.
