I do count features for artists. I just don't think they're accurate in gauging an artist's digital power, especially in this argument. That's just like saying Christina can sell singles because she was featured on Moves Like Jagger.

That was under a different formula (Sales + Airplay). It's much harder to score a #1 now (which is why I think they added YouTube, to make it easier).

This statement makes no sense. The number of songs that go number one each week these days is the same as it's always been. It might be harder for certain types of songs to go #1, or it might be harder during certain parts of a song's chart run to go #1, but you can't say overall that it's harder to go #1.
