I like your avi and you don't have to PM me with your point of view. Now I have to click and delete so it doesn't show 1 notification to the right of my screen. Gee, thanks

That's what she said on 106 back in April. And I still don't understand why she scrapped RIM. She could've just released the video together with SH on the same day. If it's because she didn't like the song why did she bother shooting a video.

If I said replace, then I stand corrected. She chose to release SH instead of just using it as a buzz single it was shot and then we didn't get a video for the official single until April. VVV was to be the first official single and SH was to be a buzz, street single to garner controversy (but not as bad as it actually did). She has paid VVV dust ALL this time and not just because she didn't like the video. She knew that she had to release VVV at some point but she didn't even use it on her tour in the summer and barely played the full thing on her overseas tour knowing that it was going to be a single at some point. There is more to the story as to why we got VVV as the last single. She had little choice. I mean, she shot a RIM video and didn't even put it on the re-up so she's shot a video and never released it before. Take note on how she doesn't refer to Dr. Luke tracks and gushes over Redone tracks and talks about how she trusts redone. See Perez interview again.
I understand that some of you all aren't familiar with the politics of the industry but there are some singles that are contractually obligated or are guaranteed to be singles from the start. She didn't like RIM yet she shot a video and if she would have followed through with her Roman movie trust that RIM video would have been necessary to release. I mean, Britney's Radar had a contractual obligation which is why it was on two different studio albums and there are many other songs that are pushed as singles regardless of whether or not the artist wants it to be released. Is it true that after Kesha's failed 2nd single that her label is choosing the 3rd single??? or was that a rumor.
Mariah carey herself was bothered that Tommy mottola wouldn't allow her to release different sounding singles. This isn't uncommon but usually a video is not shot because that costs time and money.
In a way, I'm glad she chose the route because, again, had she not gone extreme in 2012 she wouldn't have tested her boundaries with the public to know where she stood. She still won in many other regards.
