That's exactly where I'm coming from. People treat Blake like the next George Strait. He's way overhyped, and to think he's going to get an awards strictly because of his judge position on The Voice is sickening. Overawarded as well. His last album didn't even cross Platinum after four number 1's. Luke Bryan sales are way more impressive. He had little to no promo.

Nice improvement for him, but still bad.

i think because that's where wayne built his legacy

it's like a very big project for him when he makes it, he puts in a lot of work to it
that's why there is a BIG expectation for him to deliver in every Carter release...

his other releases like IANAHB and Rebirth are more like he's just experimenting and trying stuff... just for fun..
