I hate it when stans of certain artists have the nerve to shade Britney. She was the first to open doors of marketability for pretty girls with not so big voices and make them bonafide popstars. If it wasn't for Britney, "singers" like Katy Perry, Rihanna, Taylor Swift etc wouldn't even have had a chance at obtaining a record deal (even though Britney had a bigger voice than all of them at the time of her signing). Other stans should respect that

I don't think FF needed to be her ROL. Madonna was 39 when she did that album, going on 40 and was losing mainstream appeal. Britney on the other hand was 29, going on 30, and gaining radio support in her home market and I think FF's commercial singles definitely aided that. I think now she's in a much better place to make a ROL-esque album because it's far more crucial this time around because era 8 is seriously make or break for Britney's career.
True. I just hope we get that kind of album at some point.

LOL not at all. . . . "Baby one more time" has her best vocals performances, and even "Britney" (overall) has better vocal performances than "Oops". deal with it.
