Can somebody refresh me on a moment in time in which Rihanna ever had an era bigger than Xtinas debut? She may have consistency, but Rihanna doesn't have some outright peak in popularity that eclipses all others.

I think Britney's peak was bigger then them all, and going by sales so was xtinas but rih and gaga get way more respect overall, and canactually tour so it's hard to judge but I still think britney/ xTina
Yes, if only because Christina's career really doesn't hold up to Gaga's or Rihanna's; both have quite a ways to go before they can be argued to have beaten Britney.
In the US, No. Worldwide, Britney and Gaga are bigger. Everybody knows them, even grandmas and grandpas who don't listen to music. Here in my country, I heard politicians talk about them. You know you're that big when you reach all types of people. It's mind blowing, really. While I like Xtina and Rihanna more, they have never reached that kind of fame.
