Britney's first 3 albums are her "
Madonna", "
Like a virgin" and "
True blue" .... the first 3 albums of both singers featured pop catchy sounds with classics like "Lucky star", "Like a virgin", "Material girl", "Papa don't preach", "Baby one more time", "Sometimes", "(You drive me) Crazy" and "Oops I did it again.
"
In the zone" is her "
Like a prayer" the 4th album of both artists and the first one when they explore deeper and more creatively into their music, both albums were forward thinking.
"
Blackout" is her "
Erotica" both singers' 5th raunchy albums, and both became their first commercial WTF momment, both first singles peaked #3 , had low budget videos and despite positive critical reception both albums were outshadowed by tabloids. Both albums became low sellers cult classics over the years.
"
Circus" is her "
Bedtimes stories", their 6th albums, the music was softer, performed commercially better than their preivous album, the image was also softer compared to the raunchy previous image, and both albums featured a single with a response to the media and society in "
Human nature" and "
If u seek amy".
.... So yes , "
Femme Fatale" was meant to be her "
Ray of light" sadly it didn't turn out to be that way
