Sis I know all about Ariana. I've watched her "Emotions" video multiple times, watched her doing the whistle notes to prove she can do them. I watched those videos LONG ago. I'm interested in seeing where she takes her career. I have nothing against the girl, I just don't think the people saying she sounds like early Mariah aren't familiar with Mariah's early work cause the good sis Ariana sounds nothing like her.
I do think she sounds like Mariah. BUT NOT TO THE EXTENT THAT SHE SOUNDS LIKE 90'S VOCAL GODDESS MARIAH. She sounds NOTHING like Mariah on tracks like "Vision of Love" or "Anytime You Need A Friend."

You can tell that they were little girls, trying to imitate Mariah's whistle notes, and now they try to mimic what she did, but it's not the same exact sound of a whistle note
