i disagree about that ....she came out of a big era .... she didnt perform it anywhere ..it wasnt her new song from her new album..so it was going to happen ... ( and the song sucks )
She performed it at the Oscars in front of over 40 million viewers and the song still flopped.

I'd prefer her not getting the #1 spot, but selling well and hitting platinum, than debuting at #1 and then falling like a rock. In the UK, I mean. #1 debut in the US, please.
