Because she has an intimidating, threatening, and overly protective team who don't allow any questions that veer from a script, not realizing that those awkward, scripted interviews do more damage than good, since she comes across as a severely dumbed-down version of the girl everyone used to love in them. All of her interview questions are reviewed before she sits down with the interviewer. It’s as if her team believes that she’s not mentally stable enough to answer a few simple questions. One interviewer said that her team banned all questions involving the entire Mickey Mouse Club cast (whether she was still in touch with them, etc.) when she was doing those few promo interviews in Europe for ‘Femme Fatale.’
The general public still hasn’t gotten over their break-up and everyone’s still taking sides. During a recent VH1 special that included both of them, one host said that Britney is still stuck making 'this kind of music' (referring to the God awful ‘Scream & Shout’ remix,) while Justin is busy ruling the world.
